There are so many fabulous activities for you to enjoy on Kauai!  The most popular activities are helicopter tours and boat excursions.  There are powered catamarans that also can sail when the conditions are optimum.  The zodiac rafts are for the  adventurous at heart.  Tours vary between 2-7 hours and will take you from the west shores to the north shores, and will even take you on a voyage to the forbidden island of Niihau off the coast of Kauai.  Some companies offer a light continental breakfast and /or deli style buffet lunch, while others offer snacks and beverages only. The south shore trips are calmest in the winter, while the north shore offers the legendary Na Pali Coast and is best done in the summer, although many vendors now offer the Na Pali year around, dependent on conditions.  The captains make the call.

Helicopter tours provide a unique view of the Garden Island that you can't experience any other way.  An hour flight will cover all the shores and the interior of the island that is inaccessible by car, boat, or foot. The waterfalls and the rainbows are an amazing sight. The view from above is one of the most memorable things you will ever experience.  If your time on Kauai is limited to a few days, this is an activity not to miss.

In addition to these two most popular activities, there is also some great kayaking to be done on rivers or in the ocean.  These can be done on your own or with a guide.  Do a spectacular downhill bike tour and witness the awesome sunrise at Waimea Canyon while you are still on mainland time. Enjoy leisurely horseback rides to natural pools and waterfalls.  We have fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling tours for beginners and pros. There are even four wheel drive van trips that get you on the back roads of Waimea Canyon or cane roads behind locked gates that give you exclusive access to off limit areas. Last but not least, there are Luaus for the whole family. How often will you get the chance to participate in a true Hawaiian party?

Please note that advance reservations for Na Pali boat excursions and Helicopter tours are highly recommended, as summer months are very busy.  You are protected by the 24 hour cancellation policies held by all vendors and you will be paying them directly upon your check-in to each event, unless you prefer to make your payment in advance of your arrival.

There are quite  a few vendors who continue to offer the Na Pali Coast boat tours in their Winter off season months, ocean permitting.  It is strongly suggested that you schedule ocean activities at the beginning of your vacation to allow time for rescheduling if your tour is weather canceled. Don't depart disappointed.
