We had a wonderful vacation on Kauai! It was hours of relaxation punctuated by the exciting excursions you arranged for us. The snorkeling was also great fun. The guides were patient with all of us (18 in all, no experienced snorkelers) and we saw more than 16 kinds of beautiful reef fish and about a dozen turtles. Once again, mahalo for all your help. Tours departing daily from Kukuiula Harbor in Poipu at 8:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. Groups of 20 can inquire about a Na Pali Tour departing out of Poipu but be aware that this is a very long day. Rates are $103.73 adults • $80.37 kids ( 5 - 12) • State & Harbor Tax Included

Captain Tara and local marine biologists for an exciting 3 hour snorkel
adventure on Kauai's southern shore in Poipu aboard her 24 foot Zodiac
"Hurricane", a rigid hull inflatable used by Navy Seals and valued for
its quickness and maneuverability. It is certified for 20 passengers. You
are in good hands with Captain Tara - she has a Masters License from The
US Coast Guard. She is also a Marine Biologist, published underwater photographer
and a dive master well acquainted with Hawaiian waters and especially the
waters off Poipu's sunny coast. The 3 hour tour departs from Kukuiula Harbor
near Spouting Horn. The adventure takes you to 'out of the way' snorkel
spots that are accessible only by boat. You will have the opportunity to
explore Poipu snorkel spots that others rarely see, and swim with colorful
tropical fish and green Sea Turtles. The South Coast of Kauai offers many
opportunities to see Dolphins, Flying Fish, and Humpback Whales (in season).
You will receive a free underwater photo of your snorkel excursion. The
tour includes all snorkel gear and wetsuits. Also, the tour offers a great
lunch of gourmet sandwiches (Turkey, Ham, Pastrami, and Veggie) local fruit,
Kauai cookies, Hawaiian juices, bottled water and soda.

Dear Capt. Tara, We just viewed the photos you took of the Olson family on your wonderful snorkeling adventure on April 11th. The pictures are great, especially the ones of that giant turtle! That day was the hightlight of our Hawaii trip -- we will remember that experience for a long time. Thank you for such an exciting, fun day! Thank you for your knowledge, your wisdom, your patience (especially with me), your guidance and enthusiasm. What a fun day! The gourmet picnic was great, too. Kauai Snuba Lessons It's safe and easy and does not require certification. Snuba on the sunny south shore of Kauai near Poipu. Snuba is safe and easy and does not require certification. Even if you have never snorkeled or can't swim, snuba diving is available to you. It is a fun activity for couples, families, children eight years and older, and seniors. It is a great way for a certified diver to introduce non certified partners to the underwater breathing experience. Snuba divers breathe underwater by means of a 20 foot air line which is connected to a standard scuba tank. The tank is mounted on a raft on the surface that follows your every movement. The airline allows you to tour underwater near the bottom, at mid water or on the surface depending on your level of comfort. There is no heavy diving gear. |

| "The highlight of our trip was the snuba tour. Since we were trying to decide whether or not to become scuba certified, this was a nice introduction to breathing underwater. I did have a hard time trusting the feeling and was quite scared but the guys both made me feel so at ease that I was underwater and loving it within 20 minutes. I highly recommend snuba. We even had a video to record our event. Because of their patience, we are going to get scuba certified this year before we return next summer. Just wanted to thank you for all your friendly advice and help in planning our week in Kauai. It was so nice to have a resident expert to talk with ahead of time! All the activities you arranged for us went very smoothly. I especially enjoyed SNUBA and recommend it to anyone who enjoys snorkeling. I'd love to do it again!
