Kauai Sea Riders with Captain Tara • A Whole Day of Fun in 3 Hours !     
Tours departing daily from Kukuiula Harbor in Poipu at 8:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. Groups of 20 can inquire about a Na Pali Tour departing out of Poipu but be aware that this is a very long day. Rates are $103.73 adults • $80.37 kids ( 5 - 12) • State & Harbor Tax Included    
Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a smile! Not recommended for children under 5 years of age, pregnant women, and those with chronic back and heart conditions.

Captain Tara and local marine biologists for an exciting 3 hour snorkel
adventure on Kauai's southern shore in Poipu aboard her 24 foot Zodiac
"Hurricane", a rigid hull inflatable used by Navy Seals and valued for
its quickness and maneuverability. It is certified for 20 passengers. You
are in good hands with Captain Tara - she has a Masters License from The
US Coast Guard. She is also a Marine Biologist, published underwater photographer
and a dive master well acquainted with Hawaiian waters and especially the
waters off Poipu's sunny coast. The 3 hour tour departs from Kukuiula Harbor
near Spouting Horn. The adventure takes you to 'out of the way' snorkel
spots that are accessible only by boat. You will have the opportunity to
explore Poipu snorkel spots that others rarely see, and swim with colorful
tropical fish and green Sea Turtles. The South Coast of Kauai offers many
opportunities to see Dolphins, Flying Fish, and Humpback Whales (in season).
You will receive a free underwater photo of your snorkel excursion. The
tour includes all snorkel gear and wetsuits. Also, the tour offers a great
lunch of gourmet sandwiches (Turkey, Ham, Pastrami, and Veggie) local fruit,
Kauai cookies, Hawaiian juices, bottled water and soda.

Dear Capt. Tara, We just viewed the photos you took of the Olson family on your wonderful snorkeling adventure on April 11th. The pictures are great, especially the ones of that giant turtle! That day was the hightlight of our Hawaii trip -- we will remember that experience for a long time. Thank you for such an exciting, fun day! Thank you for your knowledge, your wisdom, your patience (especially with me), your guidance and enthusiasm. What a fun day! The gourmet picnic was great, too. More Info: Your height, weight and shoe size, so they can pack just the right equipment for you, including a wetsuit, in your own personalized equipment bag. Certain areas are restricted, like Makua or Tunnels on weekends. Vendors have agreed not to operate tours on Saturdays and Sundays, respecting the wishes of the community at large. Community events such as canoe races or surf meets can preempt tour operations. You can relax with the knowledge that they have taught thousands of people to snorkel including non swimmers, people who are afraid of the water, & even paraplegics. |

We had a wonderful vacation on Kauai! It was hours of relaxation punctuated by the exciting excursions you arranged for us. The snorkeling was also great fun. The guides were patient with all of us (18 in all, no experienced snorkelers) and we saw more than 16 kinds of beautiful reef fish and about a dozen turtles. Once again, mahalo for all your help.
