Tour Size: Maximum of 11 guests with 2 guides

Weight: 100-250 pounds.
All guests will weigh-in at check-in. Those outside the 100-250 pounds range will not be able to participate and will be responsible for full fare. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for those uncomfortable with heights, or with back, hip or knee problems. Women in first trimester pregnancy may participate with written physician approval.
What to Bring:

Tour Size: Maximum of 11 guests with 2 guides and 1 driver

ZIPLINE TREE TOP TOUR
An amazing zipline canopy experience that combines zipping high above the treetops with unique and exciting bridge walks.  Enjoy 7 zipline runs (up to 800’ in length!) and 5 bridge crossings as you soar through the canopy of Kauai’s silent giants, a grove of 200 foot tall Norfolk pine trees. Gliding 60 - 80 feet above the ground you will be able to experience life from a bird’s eye view. The Wikiwiki (‘quick’ in Hawaiian) Zip Tour is exciting, beautiful and quick.  Enjoy 3 zipline runs and 3 bridge crossings.  2 out of the 3 zips are over 700’ long!  First you will cross the 80’ Loa bridge to the start of your first zipline run.  Launching from atop old sugar cane fields you will zip past eucalyptus and bamboo landing 70 feet up in an amazing Norfolk pine forest.  Heading into the forest you will cross the 45’ La’au bridge and switchback into the 45’ Nahele bridge.   Standing 80’ above the ground in a Norfolk pine tree you will let the adrenaline run wild as you step off into the Ikaika zipline run (800’ long!) then into the Aloha Aina zipline run (700’ long!).  Mountain views are incredible!  Ecology narratives included.  If you want a great zipline tour but don’t have much time, the Wikiwiki Zip Tour is perfect.

Requirements/Restrictions:
Ages 9 & up. 70 - 265 pounds (250 for Eco Challenge). No pregnancies or serious heart conditions. Not recommended for those with serious back or knee conditions. We've had em' as young as '87'! 

Wear/Bring:
Closed toed shoes, long shorts or long pants, rain gear (in wet weather), long hair tied back, no dangly jewelry. Bring a camera.

All safety gear, snacks and beverages.

Location & Scenery: 
We are centrally located just 4 miles west of Lihue on Hwy 50.  Our magnificent Norfolk Pine forest is surrounded by thousands of acres of the beautiful and historic Grove Farm Sugar Plantation and the Halenanahu Reservoir.  You will have outstanding views of Mt. Kawaikini (Kauai’s tallest mountain), Mt. Waiale’ale (wettest spot on earth), all the way down to Mt. Kahili and Mt. Kalualea.  Breathtaking!

Safety Credentials:  Safety is their #1 priority. 
Just Live, Inc. is a member of, and operates under the standards of, the ANSI accredited Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA) and the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).  We meet or exceed the safety standards of the challenge course industry in terms of design, construction, and operations.  Just Live leaders are extensively trained and certified in zipline, climbing, and ropes course operations, CPR, and First Aid.  Our perfect safety record is fueled by our knowledge and experience in the challenge course industry; making us paramount above the rest in terms of safety and customer security.

This Ain't No Zipline Tour Description

The tour begins with a guided kayak trip up the Hule'ia River. An easy downwind paddle (70-90min) into the heart of the National Wildlife Refuge. The first short hike is a 10-15min walk along a lush forest trail, to an awaiting Island Adventure 14 passenger van. A 6-minute van ride takes us to the beginning of our own private trail. (Our company leases 40 acres of private land adjoining the Hulei'a National Wildlife Refuge. The waterfalls are exclusive to Island Adventures). After a detailed lesson on rappelling, we start the second hike down to the waterfalls. 

 This is a 15 minute nature hike through a tropical forest abundant with succulent guava, passion fruit, laua'e fern and noni fruit, leading to your ultimate destionation, two secluded private waterfalls! The first 30ft waterfall is named "Bamboo Falls". Here is where guest will get their first chances to rappel.

 The second is a 60ft cascading waterfall named "Hawaiian Dundee", where guests will have the opportunity to swim and take photos. Then we'll hike back to our shaded picnic area for a custom gourmet picnic lunch from Don's Bread and Deli Connection, over looking the river and Haupu Mountain Range. The tour ends with guests being driven back to Da Life.

**6 yrs. and up for 30ft and 12yrs and up for 60ft. Must be able to walk up 8 flights of stairs.Flip flops and sneakers NOT allowed. We require closed-toe water friendly footwear. For rappelling, waist size must be between 23" and 50".

Hawaiian Dundee Tour Description

The tour starts at our own private jungle trail. (Our Company leases 40 acres of private land adjoining the Hulei'a Wildlife Refuge.) After a detailed rappelling and safety lesson on a 25ft dry wall, we start the hike down to the waterfalls.

 This is a 15 minute nature hike through a tropical forest abundant with succulent guava, passion fruit, laua'e fern and noni fruit, leading to your ultimate destination, two secluded private waterfalls! The first 30ft waterfall is named "Bamboo Falls". Here is where guest will get their first chances to rappel.

 The second is a 60ft cascading waterfall named "Hawaiian Dundee". Where guests will challenge their skills (and nerve) rappelling down this wall of rushing water. (for 12 yrs and up only). Then we'll hike back to our shaded picnic area for a custom gourmet picnic lunch from Don's Bread and Deli Connection, over looking the river and Haupu Mountain Range. The tour ends with guests being driven back to Da Life.

Cancellation Policies for most vendors & TryKauai.com:  24 - 48 hours (up to 5 bookings - may vary per vendor), 72 hours (6 or more bookings, and 7 days (10 or more bookings) prior to check-in time.  The policy is in place to protect you in the event that a reservation needs to be canceled or altered. Please note that you must alert the vendors within these cancel windows in advance should you need to cancel or alter your dates, otherwise you may be charged 100% if you no show.
