Kauai Springs was the brain child of the Satterfield family (Jim and Denny
and five boys.. Clark, Chris, Casey, Caleb and Cameron). This family pioneered,
researched and developed the site in 2002 and was permitted to bottle in
2003. Since then, they are gaining support from the Kauai community and
rapidly saturating the island of Kauai with its very own mountain fresh
drinking water, straight from Kahili Mountain.

Farm tours are available by appointment.
Located on the magical north shore of the Garden
Island of Kauai, Kauai Kunana Dairy is the only dairy on the island. With
a milking herd of only twenty does, they are a true micro-dairy, specializing
in artisan goat cheese and goat milk products. The family farm also produces
USDA/HOFA certified organic fruits and vegetables in addition to delightful
pestos, dressings, and baked goods.
You can meet Ryan Wooton at the open-air farmers
market on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. in Hanalei and on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.
in Hanalei & 11:30 a.m. in Kilauea.

On any given day, you might run into Lilikoi, doing
her routine stop here. On Tuesdays when the fresh produce comes in
(best to check as this changes periodically). If you are coming with
your family, you may want to stop by and buy a few things in bulk :).
It's like the Costco you are used to but in our small town style!

When it comes to your grocery shopping, Kojima's
stands by it's motto, "Shop and save at Kojima's". Kojima's, an independent
local grocer for more than 50 years, is located on Kuhio Hwy. in Kapa'a
Town. The Kojima family market is known for their prepared and ready
to cook local favorites, including a variety of locally produced fresh
meats and their popular Korean-style short ribs. At Kojima's, you'll

My home town favorite, conveniently located where
ever you are on the island. They are dependable places to shop for
your groceries. You don't have to go far to find a gas station or
post office close by any one of their stores. They have saved me
on many occasions when I am on the go!
At the Kapaa Big Save, stop by for an extra special
treat and enjoy a refreshing Hawaiian Blizzard Shave Ice by one of the
nicest people I know on Kauai, Aaron Furugen. You will enjoy his company
as much as he enjoys yours :) Aaron is open from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm most
Mondays thru Fridays unless there is a special Holiday. Click his

If you need a quick bite to eat and don't mind
standing in line with the locals, the Sueoka Snack Shop is
a perfect place for local fast food that's affordable. The teriyaki
burger reminds me of the ones we craved as kids.
