KauaiMusicFestivals.com Wednesday, July 29 - Saturday, August 1, 2009 The Kauai Music Festival is a 4-day celebration of the art of songwriting held on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
Mei is an internationally collected artist best known for his evocative signature series titled: "Tropical Deco. Mei creates uniquely bold and distinctively beautiful works depicting his beloved Kauai and islands of Hawaii. This series of works incorporates Meis stunning use of nostalgic island subject matter with bold, bright colors to create works both contemporary and traditional. Meis abilities as a graphic artist are also evident in his exquisite pen and ink renderings of island life. Mei will be in attendance at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at Waipouli Town Center in Kapaa Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a special evening to meet the artist.

Kauai Legendary Nights Celebrating three famous nightclubs and the women who made them famous. Kauai Marriott Resort, Kalapaki, Kauai 5:30 pm- 9:30 pm. Enjoy an elegant evening of fine dining, music and dancing. Step back to era where three famous nightspots made entertainment history. Visit Coco Palms, Club Jetty and Tahiti Nui and listen and dance to the music of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Three famous women: Grace Guslander, Mama Emma Ouye and Louise Marston were the driving forces behind each establishment and made the aloha spirit part of the evening. Expect an evening of nostalgia, authentic Hawaiian music, dancing and entertainment. The Societys well-known silent auction featuring estate items, jewelry,
travel, golf, resorts and dining certificates and more raise funds to support
the Societys programs and services. Reservations are required. Tickets
