group of Kauai residents who are involved in creating the best Beach Park
in the State of Hawaii.

The focal point is a playground bridge along the bicycle and pedestrian pathway. There is shoreline fishing and parking for fishing enthusiasts. Along the path, there is durable art featuring local historic themes and educational signage throughout the park and landscaping with native plants.
This expansion compliments these existing facilities: The best swimming beach on Kauai, with rock wall lagoons. A safe place for the littlest kids, great snorkeling with many fish, not to mention an ideal community built playground, with sand, slides, mazes, swings & more. A large pavilion for community events, small pavilions for birthdays and other celebrations, large field for kite flying and games, oceanside picnic tables & barbecues, Japanese garden, and labyrinth. Two and a half miles of bicycle and pedestrian path runs along the ocean and around the park.
