The 4 Hour Waterfall ATV tour is
a favorite for those who like to swim in secluded streams and falls.
The spring-fed waterfalls on Kipu Ranch are private areas that only you
will see. The waterfall ATV tour has some of the more challenging terrain
and incredible diversity in views. There are some short hikes up and down
steep uneven ground to get to the falls, so you should be in reasonably
good shape for this tour. You will see some of Kauai's movie locations,
beautiful views, Hawaiian wildlife and historical sites. This is a great
camera adventure that you will always remember!

This tour can be enjoyed on our new
Honda AT 400 ATVs, a 2 passenger Yamaha Rhino or a 4 passenger, the "Bomber"
2 passenger machine or guide driven Kawasaki Mule. You will be provided
with helmets, goggles and bandannas as well as drinks, snacks and a
picnic lunch. You will need to bring a swimsuit, towel and water shoes
if you want to swim. They recommend
sunscreen and insect repellent
and are required to wear water shoes if you want to swim, wear long
pants and closed-toe shoes (tennis or water shoes OK).
Tour Includes: Instruction
& Practice, Picnic Deli lunch
(Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, Veggie,
or PBJ) , Short Hike to Private Waterfall, Tour Hollywood movie locations
, Views of famous Kipu Kai & Hule'ia river.
Please note: Waterfalls and
stream conditions are subject to the weather. Heavy rains can make swimming
unsafe and droughts reduce waterflow considerably.

| ATV Machine Descriptions 2007
ATV
The new Honda AT 400 is their
choice for the best ATV available for this kind of terrain and tour.
The powerful 400cc engine gets you up the steep mountain trails and the
fully automatic transmission makes it easy to operate. The AT 400 also
has push-button on/off select 4-wheel drive for the slippery spots on our
tours. The lower ground clearance wide wheelbase makes this machine more
stable that the smaller ATVs that many companies use for their tours. You
must be at least 16 years old to operate an ATV. 16 to 18 will need a parent's
signature and you must have a valid picture ID for proof of age. We do
check for ID and make no exceptions.
RHINO
The 660cc Yamaha Rhino is the
most comfortable ride they have for 2. A favorite for riding double,
this 2 passenger side-by-side seating ATV is awesome. Fully automatic transmission
with on/off select push button 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel independent suspension
makes this machine all ATV but drives like a car. Bucket seats and a steering
wheel makes this Rhino simple to drive and safer than an ATV. Book ahead
- the Rhinos almost always book up early. This is a good parent/child vehicle,
but the driver must be 21 and related to underage passengers.
RHINO SAFARI
The 660cc Yamaha Rhino is the
most comfortable ride they have for 3-4. A favorite for families, this
4 passenger side-by-side seating ATV is awesome.
This is a great family vehicle,
but the driver must be 21 and related to underage passengers.
BOMBER
Check out the Bomber, their newest
ATV. The Bombardier Outlander Max is the premiere 2 person ATV and
was chosen ATV of the Year by ATV Magazine.
Great for couples. Fully automatic with on/off select 4-wheel drive
it provides very comfortable independent suspension. The passenger
enjoys an elevated rear seat with backrest and independent handholds. Must
be 18 to drive or ride as a passenger.
MULE
Their guide-driven 4 passenger
Kawasaki Mule is great for the kids or for anyone who would rather watch
the scenery than the road. The guide is on board and can answer questions
along the way. The Mule is also a great way to take pictures on the move.
The Mule has front and rear seats that make sure you aren't too crowded.
It is still an ATV, so you will get bounced around a bit and get a little
dirty (sometimes a lot dirty), and you will still need to wear a helmet.
Helmets, goggles and bandanna are provided. Minimum age 5 or older. |

Mahalos-Feedback: Dear Lilikoi,
Thank you for all your help with our activities on our recent trip to Kauai!
We could not have had a better vacation! Kauai is the most beautiful
place I have ever seen, and all the activities were great. We had
a great time on the Kipu Ranch riding the ATVs. I was a little scared
at first, but they were so helpful, and soon I was roaring around like
a pro! Another beautiful, fun day. And the ranch is a very
interesting place, too. We swung on the rope swing and saw the most
beautiful waterfall of our trip. All in all, we had the best vacation
ever, and I want to thank you again for all you did to arrange things for
us. Bob and Sandy Haegele, Prole, Iowa

Mahalos-Feedback: Hi Lilikoi,
Just a note to thank you so much for the help you were is setting up activities
for our vacation. What a beautiful place Kauai is! I have nothing
but positive feedback on your vendors. The folks who went on the
ATV trip loved it too. They enjoyed their guides, and thought it
was well worth the money. It was great actually getting to talk to
you on the phone, and I hope we get back there and have an opportunity
to use you again. I'll certainly recommend you highly. Thanks
again, Don Wilson |
